1. You have the power to choose what to think

3. Your habitual thoughts will become the driving force of your life
4. You willl eventually become what you habitually think
5. Your will eventually put your habitual thoughts into action
6. Your translated action repeated will eventually become a habit
7. Your driving thoughts and habit will reinforce each other
8. You can only change that pattern of living by first changing your thoughts

How to disable the start up programs (in WinXP)?

This may be too easy for IT savy people. But is quite useful if you haven't come across this.





The small icons seen on the system tray are the programs running in the background. Some of them are ran automatically when you login to windows. However, you can disallow them from running automatically.


1. Click on "Start" button
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in msconfig
4. Click "OK"
5. Click on "Start up" tab

6. Uncheck the program you want to stop fro running automatically when you login.
7. Click "Apply"
8. Click "Ok"
9. Restart when prompted.

7 Characteristics Of A Revived Church & the Consequences Of An Absence of Church Revival

1. The church is filled with divine love and power, acting as the extension of Christ’s healing hands

The church will lose Christ’s intended purpose for her existence

2. The church is prayerful, powerful and positive

Revival Series 3 (How to have a personal revival?)

What is righteousness?
§ Rightness of God in thoughts, attitude, actions, speech; in home, office, church, etc.
§ To have rightness of God and reject the wrongness of the devil
§ To be careless in life means to have the besetting sins un-dealt with

Backslide:
§ Slide back to the original position of unbelief
§ Always in taken place in church
§ Always happens gradually


8 Main Symptoms of Backsliding

1. Growing cold toward the things of God
2. Giving up the life of faith [Scriptural reference Proverbs 14:14]
3. Losing sight of eternity
4. Becoming self-centered and worldly
5. Being overtaken by the cares of life
6. Being hypersensitive and easily offended
7. Be reactive and critical constantly

2 extreme manifestations of backsliding:

a. Total indifferent about things in church

Revival Series 2 (Consequences Of An Absence Of Revival)

The fake revival:
1. Focus not on Jesus Christ
2. Major not on life transformation
3. Huge crowd not equals to revival (but revival will draws huge crowd)

Why is a real revival necessary?
1. It is an antidote to backsliding [Isaiah 53:6]
2. Avoid going to the point of no return [Habakkuk 3:2]


7 Possible Consequences Of Absence Of Personal Revival

1st possible reason
The risk of losing the purpose in life
§ Purpose of life: Hinged upon God and all things eternal
§ Things Eternal: Word, Prayer, Worship, Ministry, Winning Souls

2nd possible reason
The risk of tormenting conflicts in the heart
§ Life will be simplified when heart is close to God

3rd possible reason
The risk of forfeiting spiritual inheritance
§ Royal priesthood (with power and authority)

4th possible reason
The risk of being vulnerable to Satan’s deception and attacks
§ Satan like a roaring lion (no power)
§ Deceive and cause misunderstanding

5th possible reason
The risk of being in bondage
§ When compromise, we come out of God’s protection and boundaries

6th possible reason
The risk of being a stumbling block to others
§ You are either a stepping stone or a stumbling block to others
§ Criticism

7th possible reason
The risk of backsliding to the point of no return
§ Theological issue: “Once saved always saved”
§ Not the case, example: King Saul and Judas

Revival series 1 ( What is a Real Revival?)

A devoted Christian that will impact 3 groups of people:
1. Christians that are dry and down
2. Backslidden Christian
3. Non Christian

Revive: Meaning to resurrect or restore a dying or dead thing or person back to life and vitality or to awaken again

10 aspects of personal revival

1. Believing and trusting God again in everything I do and say
2. Realizing, repenting and rejecting specific sins out of my life
3. Getting into a closer relationship with God again
4. Giving God and His kingdom first priority
5. To be on the side of God and His word again
6. An emphasis on spiritual and eternal things
7. Being more conscious of God’s presence and power in me
8. To surrender and die to self so that the new life is manifested
9. Living life of love and faith
10. Acting as God’s ambassadors of great destiny

3 hallmarks of real revival

1. The self life is being crucified
2. The new life of Christ is being resurrected and reflected
3. Other lives are being impacted by our revived lives to also live the crucified and new life
