The journey: 2nd May 2005 - 16th Jan 2009

It was kind of a mixed feelings:
1. Sad and miss the people there
2. Happy and excited over the new embarkment

There were 2 kinds of prayer given to me too:
1. Blessings over my new job
2. Return of Chiyoong to Toll Asia (!?!?!)

Well, the decision lies no longer on man, but God. A miraculous opening of opportunity at this point of time. Should or should I not grab it?

I think I should grab it which I had and willl do my best. Yes, the point is this, to do my best and let God do the rest.

Truly, there are many people whom I will missed and many people whom I want to thank.
1. The good bosses whom God placed over me
2. The good working colleagues whom God has put in my environment
3. The nice and co-operative users whom God has made them to be :)
4. The bible study group which God has placed me in to grow spiritually

5. The good friends that God gave to me

6. The many things that God put me through to learn and grow

Answers To Critics Of The Pre-Tribulation (Part1 - Part3)

Details of the Rapture

1. The Lord himself will descend to the clouds in mid air
2. He will shout as He comes but only those who will be raptured can hear him
3. We will hear the voice of the Archangel and the last trumpet call of God for the Church and the Church age ends at this point.
4. In an atomic second, demised saints will have their spirits (from heaven) and their bodies (even scattered remains in this world) reunited, resurrected, translated and raptured to meet Christ in mid-air
5. Following the same twinkling of an eye, believer will be translated and raptured to join Christ and the saints who had gone before them
6. There will be mid-air monumental reunion in the clouds
7. That's when Jesus reconciles us to Himself and accompanies us to Heaven where we shall always be with Him

1. No way in the bible is there a single verse that explicitly state that the Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation

c) Opposer not in line with Anti-Christ

3. Didn't Jesus say that in this world there will be persecution? (John 16:33)

3 positions regarding the Rapture:
1. Pre-tribulation
2. Mid-tribulation
3. Post-tribulation

Nowhere in bible has explicitly stated which is the correct position to take. Hence, we can agree to disagree without being to disagreeable

Question: Will christian got through the Great tribulation?
- Great tribulation is about God's judgement
- It is a 7 years period
- This earth will be given to the evil rulers

12 Reasons Why I believe in the Pre-Tribulation:

1. It fits well into the chronology of the book of Revelation

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

3 Invisible Components
1. God's spirit (Gen 1:1-2)

*Faith brings the intangible into reality

What is 'God's kind of faith'?
- full of Spirit
- full of word
- full of faith
- spoke the word

Mark 11:12-14
The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it.

Mark 11:20-23
In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!"
22"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

2 Seeming Discrepancies:
1. Words of Jesus to the fig tree
- Each writer reported partially on what is important
- The end result is the same

2. Signs of the withered tree
- Not all disciples were together to hear and saw what Jesus spoke to the fig tree
- Peter wasn't there
- Peter noticed the following day

Matthew 21:22
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer

- Keep praying and believing

Mark 11:24-25
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

The reason why some people are atheistic is because they ask the wrong questions about God. Their usual questions are:Why does God allow so much suffering in the world?Why doesn’t God get rid of all the evil people right away?Why are there so many religions?These questions often get us nowhere. Perhaps we should be asking fundamental questions such as:Who is God?How do I know that He is my Creator? What did He really do for me?How do I know Him?These basic questions with no pre-conceived antagonism against God will open our eyes to the truth.

According to the Los Angeles Times, thevideo has all the right ingredients of a smashhit: The lion’s menacing slink towards thecamera, then the look of recognition on itsface as it lunges towards the young men toembrace them, with Whitney Houston’s IWill Always Love You playing in the backgroundfor full sentimental effect.But the video is attracting even moreattention because of its back story, whichfirst appeared in the Daily Mail last year.The two men in the clip are Anthony“Ace” Bourke and John Rendall who lived inLondon in 1969.

They bought the lion, thena 16-kilogramme cub, from Harrod’s whichthen sold exotic animals. The departmentstore had acquired the cub from a zoo butwanted to get rid of it after it broke out ofits cage one night and wreaked havoc on adisplay of imported goatskin rugs.The men named the cub Christian andkept it in their living room. They became localcelebrities of sorts, the Daily Mail said, paradingthe cub around London, taking it to restaurantsand even playing football with it.But Christian soon grew to 84 kg and hisfood bills became exorbitant, so they wereforced to move him to a wildlife sanctuary in Kenya.

There are consequences of sins. The 5 effects of sins and consequences:
1. Every sin carries with it some consequences
2. The longer the sin stays the graver the consequences
3. The more sins one allows, the more consequences one has to face
4. A combination of multiple consequences can ruin the rest of one’s life
5. A so-called small sin can multiply itself many times
2 deadly and extreme views about repentance:
1. You must repent every minor detail of your sins
2. You don’t have to repent anymore because at conversion, your past, present and future sins are forgiven

Revival Series 3 (How to have a personal revival?)

What is righteousness?
§ Rightness of God in thoughts, attitude, actions, speech; in home, office, church, etc.
§ To have rightness of God and reject the wrongness of the devil
§ To be careless in life means to have the besetting sins un-dealt with

Backslide:
§ Slide back to the original position of unbelief
§ Always in taken place in church
§ Always happens gradually

8 Main Symptoms of Backsliding

1. Growing cold toward the things of God
2. Giving up the life of faith [Scriptural reference Proverbs 14:14]
3. Losing sight of eternity
4. Becoming self-centered and worldly
5. Being overtaken by the cares of life
6. Being hypersensitive and easily offended
7. Be reactive and critical constantly

2 extreme manifestations of backsliding:

a. Total indifferent about things in church
b. Always complain and grumble

8. Surrendering to some besetting sin/s [Scriptural reference: Heb 12:1-2]

5 Searching Questions

1. What do you think about most of the time?
2. What do you do most of the time?
3. What is in your heart most of the time?
4. What is your usual manner of speaking?
5. Do you realize each time your thoughts, words or deeds have grieved the Holy Spirit?

3 Disciplines of Spiritual life

1. Regular hearing from Jesus through His word
2. Regular communicating to Jesus through prayer
3. Regular listening to your spirit-filled heart for a personal word

Revival Series 2 (Consequences Of An Absence Of Revival)

The fake revival:
1. Focus not on Jesus Christ
2. Major not on life transformation
3. Huge crowd not equals to revival (but revival will draws huge crowd)

Why is a real revival necessary?
1. It is an antidote to backsliding [Isaiah 53:6]
2. Avoid going to the point of no return [Habakkuk 3:2]

7 Possible Consequences Of Absence Of Personal Revival

1st possible reason
The risk of losing the purpose in life
§ Purpose of life: Hinged upon God and all things eternal
§ Things Eternal: Word, Prayer, Worship, Ministry, Winning Souls

2nd possible reason
The risk of tormenting conflicts in the heart
§ Life will be simplified when heart is close to God

3rd possible reason
The risk of forfeiting spiritual inheritance
§ Royal priesthood (with power and authority)

4th possible reason
The risk of being vulnerable to Satan’s deception and attacks
§ Satan like a roaring lion (no power)
§ Deceive and cause misunderstanding

5th possible reason
The risk of being in bondage
§ When compromise, we come out of God’s protection and boundaries

6th possible reason
The risk of being a stumbling block to others
§ You are either a stepping stone or a stumbling block to others
§ Criticism

7th possible reason
The risk of backsliding to the point of no return
§ Theological issue: “Once saved always saved”
§ Not the case, example: King Saul and Judas
§ It is about the heart
§ Be vibrant for Jesus

Revival series 1 ( What is a Real Revival?)

A devoted Christian that will impact 3 groups of people:
1. Christians that are dry and down
2. Backslidden Christian
3. Non Christian

Revive: Meaning to resurrect or restore a dying or dead thing or person back to life and vitality or to awaken again

10 aspects of personal revival

1. Believing and trusting God again in everything I do and say
2. Realizing, repenting and rejecting specific sins out of my life
3. Getting into a closer relationship with God again
4. Giving God and His kingdom first priority
5. To be on the side of God and His word again
6. An emphasis on spiritual and eternal things
7. Being more conscious of God’s presence and power in me
8. To surrender and die to self so that the new life is manifested
9. Living life of love and faith
10. Acting as God’s ambassadors of great destiny

3 hallmarks of real revival

1. The self life is being crucified
2. The new life of Christ is being resurrected and reflected
3. Other lives are being impacted by our revived lives to also live the crucified and new life

speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your
own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your
eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first
take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the
speck from your brother's eye.
6"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do
